Our monthly meetings are usually on the third Friday of the month, October through May. Each meeting includes a special program topic, usually with an invited speaker, patriotic exercises, and reports of interest to our members and the community. Constitution Week Chapter Events .
Thursday, September 17, through Wednesday, September 23, 2026, there will be Constitution Week displays at the Headquarters Library Branch on Orange Blossom Drive and at the Naples Regional Library on Central Avenue. These displays and the one at the South Regional Library, which will be available the entire month of September are all unique. Plan to visit all three.
Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 3:45 p.m. – Constitution Day
Bells Across America event on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church of Naples. At 3:45 p.m. there will be a ceremony and reading of the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution. The church carillon will ring for one minute at 4 p.m., the time at which the last signature was affixed to the Constitution in 1787, followed by a patriotic song. Bring your favorite bell to ring along with the carillon or use one provided at the event. The church is located at 250 6th Street South in Olde Naples. Visit our library display at the Naples Regional Library on Central Avenue prior to walking or driving the short distance to the church. There will be parking in the lot at the church. All local DAR chapters and the general public are encouraged to attend. Bring your family and friends.
